Kristin Keffeler, MSM, MAPP is a thought leader and consultant at the forefront of a global shift in family wealth advising, known as Wealth 3.0. As the Chief Learning Officer for Johnson Financial Group, Kristin is leading the firm’s vision for creating an integrated platform of client engagement that prioritizes growth of a family’s human capital alongside the growth of their financial capital.

Kristin’s strengths-based approach is grounded in her research and years of consulting to families. She specializes in human motivation and behavioral change, family dynamics, family governance, rising gen education and development, and intergenerational collaboration. Kristin has a particular fondness for the rising generation in significant families, whom she believes are uniquely positioned to create meaningful impact in the world. Kristin uses a lens of strengths to help these family members—and the parents and advisors who guide them—to ignite their potential. She recently published her first book, The Myth of the Silver Spoon: Navigating Family Wealth & Creating an Impactful Life. In July 2023, she published the co-authored book Wealth 3.0: The Future of Family Wealth Advising with Drs. Jim Grubman and Dennis Jaffe.

Keffeler brings a multi-dimensional approach to her work. She earned an undergraduate degree in human biology and chemistry, with an emphasis on human peak performance. She also holds a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Public Health from the University of Denver, and a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Kristin also serves as the Dean of Positive Psychology for the Purposeful Planning Institute; is on the faculty for the Ultra-high Net Worth Institute; and serves on the Board of Advisors for the University of Denver’s Bailey Program for Family Enterprise. Kristin lives in Boulder County, Colorado where she loves riding her bike, spending time with her husband and daughters, and working side-by-side with her dog, Olive.
