PART 1 – THE ORIGINAL FAMILY OFFICE

 In the mid 1900’s a young industrialist by the name of Wallace E. Carrol started a small manufacturing company. 

Over the years, Wallace grew his small company into a global conglomerate that included an airline, a railroad, a property and life insurance company, and 80 manufacturing companies.

As the business grew so did the financial complexities.

Wallace responded by creating a unique office to manage his family’s investments, land holdings, accounting, philanthropy, and other family needs.

He didn’t know it at the time, but Wallace was pioneering the early days of the “Family Office.”

In 2002, Wallace’s grandson, Brandon Johnson, took the helm as CEO of the family office.  He saw a unique opportunity to offer the same high-end services to other like-minded families, and formed the Johnson Financial Group. 

Today Johnson Financial Group serves a very select group of families across the United States.
